A lot of people think that "bicycle highways" are somewhat of a far fetched idea. They cost too much, we would have to get right-of-ways from TXDOT, they wouldn't get enough use, etc. Well, ask Chuck Thomas what he thinks. I saw this article a couple of months ago, but only got a chance to put it up today. Thomas rides his bike to work on the 45 Toll Road. Yep, he rides his bike on the highway. For him it is the easiest and fastest way to get to work.

Looks like the Hike and Bike trail along Lady Birdtown Lake is finally getting the long-term vision plan it needs. As the development in the center of the city is increasing, it is important to make sure that future of the hike and bike trail is well thought out before it is too late.
